Detectives investigate stabbing in Marathon

A man was airlifted to a Miami trauma center after being stabbed early Sunday.

The 38 year old victim suffered two stab wounds to his abdomen during the incident, which took place on Ocean Terrance in Ocean Breeze Trailer Park just before 6 a.m. When deputies arrived, they followed splashes of blood toward the entrance of the trailer park, but did not find the victim. Deputies received information he might be at a residence in Trailerama Trailer Park. He was found at that location. He was taken to Fisherman’s Hospital, then airlifted to Miami for treatment of his injuries.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances of the stabbing.
