Search warrant leads to drug arrests
The Sheriff’s Special Investigations detectives executed a search warrant on 91st Street in Marathon Tuesday morning.
At 6:30 a.m., detectives served the search warrant at 495 91st in Marathon. Inside, they found 29 year old Katrina Mitchell, 38 year old Ralph Curry and two other people. Detectives also discovered a crack cocaine lab.
Mitchell admitted to detectives that she was had cooked cocaine, creating a “cookie” of crack. A search of the residence revealed 90 grams of powdered cocaine, approximately 50 crack cocaine rocks, 1 gram of marijuana, 33 Seroquel pills, scales with cocaine residue on them and $984 in suspected drug proceeds. More arrests may follow in the case, once evidence has been processed.
Mitchell was charged with trafficking in cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Curry was charged with possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana. Both were booked into jail.
