Search warrant results in drug arrests
he Sheriff’s Special Weapons and Tactics Team, Special Investigations detectives, and patrol deputies executed a search warrant last Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at an apartment complex on 3rd Avenue, Stock Island.
The warrant was served at 5312 3rd Avenue, at the Wilson Apartments on Stock Island. In the apartment, detectives located Marvin Brent Wilcox, Sean Nesbitt, Angelina Pulido and two other men. A search of the residence contained a crack cocaine lab.
In the microwave was a ceramic cup full of crack cocaine in liquid form weighing 89.3 grams. Detectives also located 23 crack cocaine rocks, a small amount of marijuana, and $2,715 in suspected drug proceeds.
A check on Nesbitt’s name revealed an active warrant from Miami Dade County for Grand Theft. He is also wanted for questioning in a homicide that occurred in Miami. Nesbitt had a second warrant out of Monroe County for violation of probation on a drug charge.
Wilcox, 27 years old, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine. Nesbitt, 26 years old, was arrested and charged with the two warrants and possession of marijuana. Pulido, 20 years old, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
All three were booked into jail.
