Marathon woman accused of stealing from radio group
A Marathon woman was arrested Monday, charged with stealing a large amount of money from The Great Marathon Radio Group, the company where she has worked for almost 20 years.
According to Detective Trevor Wirth, 36 year old Danielle Alderman was a signatory on bank accounts for the company. She allegedly wrote a large number of unauthorized checks to herself between January of 2011 and June of 2012.
An examination of bank records showed unexplained debits from the accounts by Alderman of $213,303.54 . She was terminated from her employment with the company in June.
Detective Wirth obtained a warrant for Alderman, who was arrested Monday on Grand Theft charges. Bond on the warrant is set at $150,000.
